Who We Are

Kelsey is a sometimes student and sometimes cyclist. Adrenaline junky, food fanatic, expert boogie boarder, she is happiest with dirty feet and wind in her hair. When not off-roading in her trusty Prius or lost somewhere on a mountain, she ideally is curled up reading a book or attempting to string words together in resemblance of poetry.

Isaiah Drummond is a rising junior studying Mechanical Engineering. He had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid this past Spring Quarter, and he was so affected that he is now minoring in Spanish. You can catch him this year as a RA in Meier, giving tours on campus, hanging out in the Haas Center, or binge-watching new Netflix standup comedy.

Hi! My name is Madeline Bubb, but most people just call me Bubb.

I’m from Newport Beach, California, I’m 20 years old, and I think that anything below 65° is freezing cold. I also am a film major who will ideally make it big in Hollywood, but for now I am just a starving artist trying to have a good time and tell somewhat engaging stories.

Jet - 808 native.

Loves the ocean, loves fish - hates Taylor Swift. Lover of peanut butter, peanut butter of lover. Once proud owner of a life size Beyonce cut-out (please come home). 5-time tsunami survivor. Olympic caliber sleeper.

Triple majoring - quadruple minoring - tells people majoring in Quantum Physics - people believe him. Doesn't plan on getting a linkedin profile picture.

Hi, my name is Temidayo!

I’ve been told to keep this to fifty words or shorter so instead of beating around the bush, I’ll just get right to it rather than beating around the bush.

If you think you can play, challenge me to a ping pong match. (614) 783-0488

Hey I'm Emma! Here are a few things about me:

Jew(ish) Happa. Been to 15 countries. Let's geek out about genetics & biotech. Very good at deciphering acronyms. Sympathetic yawner. Pathologically afraid of barf, haven’t spewed since I was 5. Greatest dream is to sit on a cloud.

I don’t understand physics or hedge funds. Bollywood dance gets me HYPE. Scuba certified but almost gave myself the Bends last time I dove. Peanut butter.

Ellen Roper is a rising junior studying Computer Science. She is from Los Altos, California. Among her favorite hobbies are playing cello, watching The Office, and showering her cat with (often unappreciated) hugs.

Alex, also known as Dre, also known as Dre Buckets, is a French undergrad studying Math and Computer Science. In real life, he’s an avid basketball fan, and is currently praying that his Washington Wizards make a big move in the offseason. He also loves to play basketball, and enjoys any team sport in general.

Note: This is not Dre. Instead, it is the first image resulting from the Google search of: white french basketball player, as Dre is smarter than the rest of us and does not want his data harvested.

Isabelle Chau is a rising junior studying Biology at Stanford.  She is licensed to drive vehicles even though she is from New York City.  Her proudest achievement is being her freshman dorm’s Haas Center Liaison.

Jesus is really lost right now and trying to figure out where he’s supposed to be going. Wherever it is, he’s got Frank Ocean on aux because you should never Drake and Drive. Catch him staffing Norcliffe next year as he continues to commit himself to random clubs, events, and dares as he tries to keep himself entertained for another year.

Alec is a rising junior at university. His freshman year, he lived in Serra, and is one of the survivors of the infamous Serrager of '16. In his free time, he enjoys doing stupid stuff.

Isha invented the internet, became the first female president, and was the first woman and child to fly across the world. She enjoys also telling and attempting to write stories, some of which are not true ;)

Marie is a rising junior at Stanford University studying civil engineering. On the off chance you find her not talking about frisbee, she also loves HGTV, Philadelphia, card games and of course, her puppy Winston. Marie is spending next quarter studying abroad in Paris and travelling around Europe. Also allergic to peanut butter but says she’s outgrown it.

My name is Fiona O'Keeffe, and I'm an incoming junior at Stanford. I'm a member of the women's cross country and track and field teams. Outside of running, my interests include hiking, reading, going to the farmer's market, and hugging trees (#EarthSystemsFTW).

Phil likes to play the guitar and be outside. Some may call him sleepy, disorganized, and a little bit off. If they're right, he’s lucky enough to have people in this world who really know him.  If they're wrong, he’s a stone cold stud. As usual, he comes out on top either way.

Rachel Anders (aka Judy) is a Humbio major who enjoys riding her mountain bike, skiing, and romping around in the mountains! She’s on the housing waitlist and kinda salty about it. Hoping for Florence in the spring and has been Duolingo-ing all summer. Utah sucks tell your friends!

Jordan Payne is a rising junior at Stanford and was born and raised in Miami, Florida. (305 until she dies!) She loves her two dogs more than anything else and stays connected with them across the country with Furbo, a treat-tossing pet camera. She loves a nice morning iced coffee and wishes the SF fog wasn’t playing with her emotions like it is.

Laura Jonsson (Laura the Explorer) loves to explore.

Some of her adventures include researching child language development, sneaking around Chinatown to find delectable soup dumplings, scouring the internet for the nth video of dogs and babies playing (now that is the only thing Youtube suggests that she watches), hiking in the Redwoods, and attending the dog surfing world championship (for free no less, what a beautiful day it was).

Other key topics of discussion with Laura are food, the ocean, babies, the Middle East, Jim and Dwight pranks, and panda paraphernalia!
